Sniff Radio Packets: An Alternative to Gold Wave for Linux Users

A couple of days ago, I was doing some developments on Linux during which, I came across the need for capturing some radio packets for further analysis. I started searching online to download the Gold Wave for Linux.

But unfortunately, I figured out there isn’t a Linux compatible Gold Wave software. If you don’t know what I am talking about – Please view my previous post regarding, how to sniff radio packets using the Gold Wave software here.

After searching the web, I came across Audacity, a software similar to Gold Wave and compatible to be used on Linux.

The intention of this post is to show a small video tutorial, that will help users to get started with Audacity, for capturing the radio packets onĀ  Linux.

The hardware setup is exactly the same as described in my previous post.
